- Post-Surgical Assessment: For new post-op patients, we review the surgical site and ensure the chest wall has healed sufficiently for fitting. Incisions should be healed, ports removed, and chest wall swelling minimized before a breast form can be fitted. Fittings typically occur 6–8 weeks after surgery.
- Measurements: Chest wall and rib cage measurements for proper sizing, along with arm measurements to establish a baseline for monitoring potential lymphedema.
- Product Selection & Try-On: Review available breast forms, mastectomy bras, and other products. Products may also be ordered for the fitting appointment.
- Wear & Care Instructions: Learn how to properly wear, care for, and maintain your mastectomy and lymphedema products.
- Ongoing Product Support: Assistance with warranty replacements, product questions, and reorders.
